About the entertainment complex "or"
In August 2020, a new cultural spot, "or," will open directly below the hotel "sequence MIYASHITA PARK" within Shibuya's new landmark, "MIYASHITA PARK." As a complex entertainment facility focusing on street, art, fashion, music, and design, we are also actively working to realize a sustainable society.
Comprised of three floors - a cafe on the first floor, an art gallery on the second floor, and a music bar on the third floor - you can enjoy a wide variety of music genres on the best sound systems on each floor. The store also features a pop-up space, art gallery, and show windows, allowing you to experience the latest art and design.

"or" is a cultural hub station where people, music, and art intersect, transcending gender, age, and nationality.

Concept of the "or" Entertainment Complex
⑴ Business Strategy
By combining a cafe, art gallery, and music bar in one building, we will provide a wide range of content and operate a facility that offers a wide range of ways to "have fun" from early morning until late at night to suit diversifying lifestyles.

As part of our efforts to achieve the SDGs, we will continue to provide new and stimulating spaces through music, art, food, and alcohol, eliminating inequalities between genders, ages, people, and countries, and supporting the promotion of healthy minds and bodies. In addition, when handling waste such as food and equipment, we will thoroughly implement the 3Rs under the supervision of a recycling advisor, reducing our environmental impact and carbon dioxide emissions. We provide a rewarding and educational environment for our employees. We emphasize the freedom of choice and diversity that underpin the "or" concept, and actively promote the appointment of women to executive and staff positions. Our cafe aims to realize a sustainable society by creating environmentally friendly menus, using pesticide-free or reduced-pesticide vegetables and fair-trade ingredients, and eliminating plastic in takeout containers.

⑵ Target Customers
Primarily men and women in their 20s to 40s who are culture-conscious, including music, art, fashion, and design, as well as foreign visitors to Japan.

⑶ Store Name and Logo
The name "or" comes from our desire to create an environment where people can connect with each other through music, art, and design, where people can freely choose how they want to have fun without being bound by stereotypes, and where it is always one of our options. The two diagonal lines that make up the logo represent the interconnectedness and interweaving of various cultures, such as Shibuya and Harajuku, people and people, music and art, food and alcohol, through the "or" symbol.
