On April 5, 2024, Miu Miu held a screening of the 27th installment of its "Women's Tales" series, "I AM THE BEAUTY OF YOUR BEAUTY, I AM THE FEAR OF YOUR FEAR," at Cine Switch Ginza in Tokyo.

Miu Miu's short film project, "Women's Tales," which began in 2011, is shot by internationally acclaimed female film directors, and with a sensibility unique to women, it vividly depicts worlds that are sometimes beautiful, sometimes mysterious, and sometimes fantastical. The 27 short films released so far each depict a different cinematic world, but all share a common theme: they all interrogate timeless themes. "Women's Stories" was born from a request to female directors to create a film that offers a sharp celebration of femininity in the 21st century, one that speaks to women's sensibilities, inspires self-reflection, and embraces complexity and contradictions in the old and the new.

In addition to a screening of the latest film by Malaysian director Tan Chui Mui, which premiered in Shanghai in March, a special talk session was held between novelist and poet Mieko Kawakami and film critic Atsuko Tatsuta, in which they discussed the project and the latest work.

Many guests attended the event, including ambassador MOMO of TWICE, wearing Miu Miu's latest collection, as well as Eiji Akaso, Hikari Mori, and Mizuki Yamamoto.

After the screening, a glamorous cocktail party featuring a DJ was held at Tokyo EDITION Ginza.
