A limited-time pop-up store inspired by "The End," the shoe store run by Kai, played by Rinko Kikuchi, in the currently-showing short film "High Heels: A Fairy Tale Born from Commitment," will open on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku for a limited time.

The pop-up store will sell shoes from MIHARA YASUHIRO, the manufacturer of the high heels featured in the film. Customers can choose to order the same high heels as in the film with a piece-dyeing process. Available in two types of material—smooth leather and patent leather—customers can choose their favorite color. The patent leather piece-dyeing process is a patented process technology by MIHARA YASUHIRO. Other items planned for sale include custom-colored versions of classic trekking boots and engineer boots, as well as other items.

The pop-up store was realized as a thoughtful gesture from the brand, who wanted customers to experience the film's setting in which "shoes in a color that suits them appear." The store will be transformed into a space where you can fully immerse yourself in the world of the film, with costumes and props on display and video screenings.

When humans' endless desires threaten to destroy the world, people choose to abandon their desires and become androids to save it. However, an error occurs in some of the androids, causing "desire" to sprout up again. At that time, a customer comes to shoemaker Kai, wanting to make a pair of shoes that fit him perfectly... This much-talked-about film stars Kikuchi Rinko as the genderless shoemaker, with some of the costumes specially designed by CHANEL. The opening begins with animation by Nobuo Hanzaki, who has worked on many music videos, including that of Mr.Children, and the story of androids born with desire is told in live action in this poetic dark fantasy!
