Isetan Shinjuku is strengthening its lineup of miscellaneous goods for the rainy season. The women's goods section on the first floor of the main building will feature umbrellas by designer Yuko Ibe and non-sticky net tights from Italian brand Pierre Mantoux. The Isetan online store will also carry Danish rainwear brand RAINS for a limited time. Bon Bon Store, a small goods brand created by Yuko Ibe, will offer umbrellas made with carefully selected materials and details. Items include umbrellas with handles made of maple or bamboo, long umbrellas with bird and frog prints (16,000 yen), and parasols suitable for both sunny and rainy days (starting at 12,800 yen). The items will be available in stores until June 16th. Italian legwear brand Pierre Mantoux offers "MICRONETTE" (75% nylon, 25% polyurethane, 3,500 yen), ultra-thin net tights that make your legs look slimmer, in 14 colors including beige, light beige, and greige. The snug fit is breathable, doesn't stick to your legs even during the rainy season, and is said to be comfortable to wear. The store is also strengthening its selection of rainwear items for online shopping. The Isetan online store will carry the rainwear brand "Rains" until June 24th. The brand began full-scale sales in Japan in 2014. It offers clothing that combines the functionality of rain gear with minimalist Scandinavian design. The online store will also sell long jackets (from 13,000 yen) and curved jackets (from 14,000 yen).
