Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore will be hosting the "Iida Umbrella Shop Summer Umbrella Exhibition" at its stores and online shop from June 26th. In addition to umbrellas featuring unique patterns using textiles designed by umbrella artist Yoshihisa Iida, we will also be introducing surprising rainy day goods, such as bags made from umbrella parts. As the humid rainy season transitions into full-blown summer, we are hosting the "Iida Umbrella Shop Summer Umbrella Exhibition" in-store and online to introduce exciting items to help you enjoy the upcoming hot season.
The greatest attraction of "Iida Umbrella Shop" is the textiles designed by umbrella artist Yoshihisa Iida himself. Motifs familiar to us in our daily lives, such as "corn," "noriben" (seaweed bento), and "colored pencils," are expressed in colorful, patterned textiles with a unique perspective.
