Shiseido Clé de Peau releases limited edition items inspired by a Venetian masquerade ball

Shiseido's high-prestige brand, cle de peau BEAUTE, will release its 2015 AW collection on the theme of "Voyage a Venise" on August 21st and November 21st.

The collection released on August 21st is color makeup that creates a mysterious and beautiful expression. The collection will be available in 20 varieties across five categories: Clé de Peau Beauté Ombre Couleur Quadri n (5,000 yen/3 types), an eyeshadow that creates elegant eyes with a gradation of light and color that deepens the more you layer it; Clé de Peau Beauté Rouge Eclat C (3,500 yen/10 colors), a lipstick with luxurious luster and color; Clé de Peau Beauté Blush Duo Poodle (4,500 yen/5 types), a blush set that includes one color with a soft, frosted glass texture and the other with a high-quality, glossy texture; a blush color case (2,500 yen); and a brush (1,000 yen).

A limited edition color makeup inspired by a Venetian masked ball will be released on November 21st. The collection features four mask designs by Joji Kojima, an up-and-coming jewelry designer based in Japan and the US, as motifs for each item.

The "Gemma" mask, which is studded with jewels and peacock feathers creating a fantastical effect, has been used as a motif to create the "Clé de Peau Beauté Coffret de Couleurs" (15,000 yen/limited quantity), a three-piece set consisting of eye shadow from an antique diamond palette, crimson lipstick, and burgundy mascara.

The "Violetta" mask, which resembles blooming crimson petals, has been used to create the "Clé de Peau Beauté Poudre Pour Le Corps" (10,000 yen/limited quantity), a rose-based gradient color body powder. Other products on offer include the three-piece nail color set "Clé de Peau Beauté Vernia Ongle Trio" (6,000 yen/limited quantity), inspired by the shining golden mask "Elena," and the beauty serum "Clé de Peau Beauté Le Serum" (25,000 yen/limited quantity), inspired by the striking ruby-red mask "Rosalie."
