niko and ... will be selling its second collaboration with leading Japanese fashion designer Chisato Tsumori at niko and ... stores nationwide and the official online store [.st] from June 5, 2020.

Following the success of the first collaboration, this collaboration lineup combines Tsumori's rich ideas, creative use of color, and unique graphic perspective with the sensibility of niko and ..., which has been cultivated through successful collaborations with various brands and organizations.

The graphics used on the collaboration products are selected from designer Chisato Tsumori's archives. Items include shirts, dresses, and two-way bags featuring vibrant graphics perfect for the summer season. A new short-sleeved T-shirt featuring the signature motif of "Kira Neko" will also be released in four colours, so be sure to enjoy it.

These humorous line drawings depict rare and extinct creatures that have evolved independently in New Zealand and Mauritius, where Chisato Tsumori travelled.

A sunflower chandelier, candles and butterflies, a little blue bird, a grasshopper band and many other characters come together in a colourful, nostalgic print. The delicately drawn flowers and insects are like a page from a picture book.

Season: 2015-2016 Autumn / Winter
American comic-style print featuring Wonder Woman, flying UFOs, pizza and a laughing Earth. A powerful, courageous and happy world with phrases like "You can do it!" and "lucky".

A print that expresses Tsumori Chisato's imagination of outer space. Colourful balloons, like Noah's Ark, with lots of cute animals riding on a large balloon.

Graphic printed on the back features a rock and powerful LUCKY logo, a winged balloon, a blue bird and large pink polka dots. A gold happy bird is printed on the front.

■TSUMORI CHISATO
In 1976, he graduated from the Fashion Design Department of Bunka Fashion College. In 1977, he joined Issey Miyake International Inc., led by Issey Miyake, where he became the designer of "Issey Sports." In the 1990s, he launched the brand "TSUMORI CHISATO" in the fall/winter of 1990. He participated in the Tokyo Collection. In 1995, he opened his first store in Aoyama. He then opened shops in Paris, Daikanyama, Kobe, and other locations.
In the 2000s, he won the 20th Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix in 2002. He later moved his collection presentation venue to Paris. In 2015, the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary. In 2017, he was in charge of costume design for the New York City Ballet's "2017 Fall GALA," and is active in a wide range of fields.
