QLOCKTWO, which displays the time in text, is releasing a table clock in its popular Creator's Edition for 2020

Jun 5, 2020
QLOCKTWO is a German-born modern art brand that displays the time in text. Its new releases for 2020 are two table clock models: the QLOCKTWO TOUCH Creator's Edition Vintage Copper and the QLOCKTWO TOUCH Creator's Edition Silver & Gold. The popular CLASSIC (45cm x 45cm) model will be released as the TOUCH (13.5cm x 13.5cm) table clock.

The QLOCKTWO Creator's Edition is a special collection within the brand, characterized by its craftsmanship. The new QLOCKTWO TOUCH table clock models being introduced this time are table clock versions of two particularly popular Creator's Edition versions of the QLOCKTWO CLASSIC (45cm x 45cm).

The "QLOCKTWO TOUCH Creator's Edition Vintage Copper" features a dial (front cover) that has been given a patina to the copper. This was inspired by the naturally patinated surfaces of roofs, sculptures, coins, and other objects.

The dial of the "QLOCKTWO TOUCH Creator's Edition Silver & Gold" is finished with a white gold patina made from equal parts silver and 12-karat gold. This design pays homage to the founder's hometown, Schwaebisch Gmünd (famous for its gold and silver processing, and the city's name itself means "City of Gold and Silver").

Once the ideal pattern is achieved, the dials of these two models are processed to prevent further changes. In this sense, each model is unique, with a different pattern. Being unique is also a requirement for the QLOCKTWO Creator's Edition. The dials of the "Vintage Copper" and "Silver & Gold" models emit a warm, subdued glow reminiscent of ancient furniture, depending on the angle and lighting. Furthermore, the inscriptions are engraved on the dials using ultra-precise laser technology. Combining "handcrafted craftsmanship" and "cutting-edge technology," these dials pursue "ultimate beauty." The beautiful dials enhance the artistic individuality of the "modern art of displaying time through text," and the inscriptions, which change every five minutes, gracefully mark the time on the dial.

The "Vintage Copper" and "Silver & Gold" clock faces (front covers) are available in over 20 languages. The TOUCH table clock's face (front cover) is magnetically detachable, allowing you to interchange it with faces (front covers) in other colors, languages, and materials.

QLOCKTWO: Modern Art that Displays the Time in Text
IT IS HALF PAST SEVEN” (It is 7:30)
QLOCKTWO is a revolutionary German-made clock that displays the time in text rather than with hands or numbers. The typography-like display combines the current time with words, reading “IT IS HALF PAST SEVEN” (It is 7:30).

In Europe, in addition to being highly acclaimed by watch enthusiasts, it has won more than 30 design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Product Design Award, and the ADC European Gold Award, and is popular as modern art that offers an elegant and modern lifestyle.

For example, in France, it is exhibited and sold at the world's oldest department store, Bon Marché, and the famous Parisian select shop, Colette, which has sadly closed, and is favored as an item that enhances the "elegant and modern lifestyle" of Parisians.
