This year marks the 10th anniversary of Max Mara's Teddy Bear Coat. The brand's iconic Teddy Bear Coat has long been a beloved wardrobe staple, beloved by celebrities and women worldwide as a versatile piece for any occasion.

Max Mara Creative Director Ian Griffiths has reimagined a luxurious 1980s Teddy Bear Coat from the brand's archives, reimagining it as a coat for the modern woman. The high-quality, long-pile pile fabric used for the coat was developed by a German textile mill that produces luxury children's toys. Ian rediscovered this discontinued fabric and successfully developed a luxurious and unique eco-fur material using fluffy camel hair.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Teddy Bear Coat," limited-edition items are being released, including the "Crystal Teddy Bear Coat," a crystal-embellished version of the iconic camel and white "Teddy Bear Coat," and a kids' size "Mini Teddy Bear Coat." These limited-edition special items will be available at the Max Mara Omotesando store and the brand's official online store from October 16th, and at the pop-up store at Roppongi Hills O-Yane Plaza from October 27th.
