The Lee Harajuku store is celebrating its first anniversary since relocating to Meiji Street in Harajuku. To commemorate this milestone, we're releasing a new series of indigo-dyed items titled "I am INDIGO." Each indigo-dyed item is hand-dyed, resulting in a unique aging experience unlike denim. This hand-dyed process creates a unique texture. The dye is made with natural indigo (indigo) sourced in Japan. This collection includes five items: dark, medium, light, and two tie-dyed shades. The indigo dyeing process involves repeatedly immersing the garment in the dye, then removing it, squeezing, and allowing it to oxidize. The darkest shades are achieved by repeating this process 10 times, while the medium shades are achieved by repeating this process four times. The tie-dyeing process requires two people to complete the three items: the LOCO JACKET, PAINTER PANTS, and OVERALLS, making them extremely labor-intensive. Tie-dyeing creates a unique pattern by tying up the product and then dyeing it with indigo. Hickory has a pattern applied on top, creating a one-off original item. INDIGO DYE items are only available at the Lee Harajuku store and are in limited quantities.
