FACTOTUM collaborates with Kamedajima, a cotton fabric with a 300-year history, to release a number of limited-edition items

Jan 18, 2017

As part of a new project by CROSS, a fashion-focused service on Japan's largest crowdfunding platform, CAMPFIRE, a limited-edition collaboration between the 300-year-old Kameda-jima stripes and designer brand FACTOTUM will be available from January 12th to February 3rd. These limited-edition items, which date back to their origins as everyday wear for farmers, are water- and mud-resistant and become more flexible with each wash. FACTOTUM designer Koji Udou has incorporated these elements into a modern design. Among the nine items available, including a crew neck T-shirt (7,000 yen) with Kameda-jima fabric on the pockets and a custom kip leather double rider's jacket (180,000 yen) with Kameda-jima fabric on the lining, some items will be offered at a 10% discount on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to the limited-edition CROSS items, FACTOTUM's 2016 Fall/Winter collection also includes collaboration items with Kameda-jima.
