The Imperial Hotel Tokyo is offering a wide variety of chocolate products and special menus for a limited time in preparation for Valentine's Day. Gargantua, located on the first floor of the main building, offers high-quality chocolates for adults. Introducing "Cool" (9 pieces for 2,500 yen), a new addition to the "Bonbon Chocolat" series, each piece carefully handcrafted. Two new flavors are available: "Umeboshi," made with chopped plums, strawberry puree, and red shiso (perilla)-infused Nanko plum jam layered with honey-infused white chocolate ganache and coated in red-tinted white chocolate; and "Granola," made with dried fruit-infused strawberry-flavored ganache coated in cereal and white chocolate. Four chocolate flavors, including "Earl Grey" and "Citron Vert," are included in the limited-edition Valentine's Day box adorned with a heart hologram. Additionally, the popular "Gâteau" (6 pieces for 2,400 yen), a new type of bonbon chocolat that recreates the flavors of cakes in chocolate, has been revamped. In addition to familiar flavors like shortcake and Mont Blanc, the assortment includes a new flavor inspired by the popular blueberry pie, which has been a hit since the store opened. Other new products, such as the "Marble Assortment" (9 pieces for 1,400 yen) and the "Bitter Assortment" (20 pieces for 1,300 yen), will also be available in limited quantities. Limited-edition cakes include the gorgeous "Heartful Valentine" (2,200 yen), a sweet and sour berry jelly and brownie wrapped in chocolate mousse, and the "The Sweets Double Chocolat" (1,500 yen), a pie crust topped with rich hazelnut praline and sandwiched between two types of chocolate cream. Also available until February 28th is the limited-edition "Pan Dolce" (2,250 yen), a dome-shaped bread made with panettone dough mixed with chocolate chips, cranberries, and roasted almonds. Imperial Lounge Aqua on the 17th floor of the main building will be offering a special course called the "Valentine's Girls' Night Out Plan" (7,000 yen, tax and service charge included) from February 1st to February 14th. In this lounge on the top floor of the hotel, overlooking the night view, you can enjoy chocolate and hors d'oeuvres along with free drinks, including Valentine's cocktails made with tea and Muscat liqueur. Rendezvous Lounge Bar on the first floor of the main building will be offering a "Valentine's Chocolate Set" (2,580 yen, tax and service charge not included), which includes a bonbon chocolate created by chocolatier Yukio Ichikawa and a coffee. In addition, limited-time original cocktails made with chocolate liqueur will be available from February 1st to February 14th (starting from 1,680 yen, tax and service charge not included).
