LEVI'S® and BEAMS have collaborated once again to release their second capsule collection, "HALF & HALF COLLECTION," on May 21st.

Last year, titled "THE INSIDE OUT COLLECTION," as the name suggests, the denim was sewn inside out with the selvedge (red edge) facing outward, and the LEVI'S® red tab, commonly known as the "BIG E," was turned upside down, a world first, and this unprecedented, experimental collection attracted attention from many quarters. The second collection pays homage to LEVI'S® heritage, boldly combining timeless classics. The denim jacket features a center-sewn combination of the so-called "First" model, which dates back to 1936 and was beloved as an informal workwear uniform for workers, and the so-called "Third" model, which became the prototype for modern models with its side waist adjusters and copper shank buttons on the placket. The denim pants combine the 1937 501® model, characterized by its single-sewing arcuate stitching on the back pockets and cinch back, with the 1993 501® design, a symbol of the 1990s. A T-shirt, also available, features the corporate colors of both companies on half of the body. Not only are the left and right sides different in shape, but the rinse-washed fabric is also different on the left and right sides, allowing you to enjoy changes over time like you've never experienced before.
