Artist Inose Naoya paints detailed, realistic landscapes using oil and acrylic paints. Selected from five works, including a new piece shown at his second solo exhibition at THE CLUB entitled "Romantic Depression," discord Yohji Yamamoto and Inose held a session to create pieces that were born from that session, and will be sold as a limited edition discord Yohji Yamamoto collection.

About the Capsule Collection
discord Yohji Yamamoto's expression is to create shadows in a blacked-out world, and to use the human body as a starting point to form organic creations. Inose's paintings are a place where light shines into a gloomy and complex world, and grand hope (romance) dwells in the inorganic emptiness. This special collection brings out the romance for creations that exist on a two-dimensional surface, and unfolds in a sort of inorganic, gravity-free manner on top of discord Yohji Yamamoto's creations, capturing deep shadows (light) as sculpted objects.

The collection, which features artwork based on Inose's signature Drape bag series, as well as the Wallet Series and Card Cases, and which takes inspiration from his recent focus on television color bars, is available in limited quantities. Each piece is hand-signed by Inose Naoya and features an edition number.

The collection will be available exclusively at the discord Yohji Yamamoto Online Boutique (https://theshopyohjiyamamoto.jp/shop/c/c50/).

discord Yohji Yamamoto
"discord Yohji Yamamoto" is a line of luxury accessories proposed by Yohji Yamamoto, proposing new values through the medium of luxury accessories. Since launching his career as a designer in 1972, for over 40 years, Yohji Yamamoto has continued to lead the global fashion scene with his innovative designs born from a rebellious spirit that challenges established fashion standards. He now proposes new values through his luxury accessories. The high-quality collection incorporates the refined beauty of Japanese culture, characterized by its delicate and graceful design. The brand name, "discord," means "dissonance" in English and symbolizes Yohji Yamamoto's philosophy of aesthetics of imperfection and asymmetry. We will express the dignified, unparalleled worldview that only Yamamoto can create from Japan to the world.
