In a world where free travel has become difficult, it is the power of creation that brings joy and hope to our daily lives as we encounter the unknown. The 16th installment of FASHION HEADLINE's creator series, "Our Fashion Story," features DIOR.


Maria Grazia Chiuri's goal for DIOR's Fall 2023 collection was to find a new and original way to speak to the emotions and sensibilities that connect DIOR to a country and its culture. She wanted to express her long-standing relationship with India and her collaboration and friendship with Karishma Swari, director of the Chanakya Atelier and Chanakya School of Arts and Crafts in Mumbai.

Inspired by saris and traditional Indian cuts, evening coats and straight skirts are the epitome of refinement, intertwining diverse heritages and fashion cultures to define the lineage of true sartorial style. This collection embodied a fascinating journey that transcends borders and time.

This time, we bring you "DIOR x YOGA," a fashion story told by photographer Hidenobu Kasahara that fuses the relationship and friendship with India expressed by Maria Grazia Chiuri in her Fall 2023 collection with yoga, a part of Indian culture.
