Wolfgang's Steakhouse, a New York-based steakhouse, is offering a "Happy Birthday Plan" for takeout and delivery at its three locations in Tokyo (Roppongi, Marunouchi, and Signature Aoyama), which will add a touch of elegance to your once-a-year birthday celebration.

With people being urged to refrain from going out and stay at home, we wanted you to be able to celebrate your once-in-a-year birthday in a luxurious and glamorous way, even in the comfort of your own home. That's why we've created the "Happy Birthday Plan" for takeout and delivery. The meal includes a prime steak, specially selected from Wolfgang's Steakhouse restaurants, along with a salad, side dish, and dessert platter. We'll even include artificial birthday flowers and a birthday card. By scanning the QR code printed on the birthday card with your smartphone, you can hear a birthday song sung by Wolfgang's Steakhouse staff and watch a video of a congratulatory message from founder Wolfgang Zeuiner.

■ Wolfgang's Steakhouse: Special Prices on Vintage Wine
In response to requests for self-restraint to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the National Tax Agency announced on April 9, 2020, that it would grant temporary liquor retail licenses for up to six months as a relief measure for restaurants that have been affected by the virus.
Following this announcement, Wolfgang's Steakhouse was one of the first to obtain a license to operate a takeout store. They have decided to sell rare vintage wines from the wine cellars of each Wolfgang's Steakhouse store for takeout and delivery at special prices (up to 50% off the regular price). Wolfgang's Steakhouse was founded in Manhattan in 2004 by Wolfgang Zwiener, who worked at a prestigious New York steakhouse for over 40 years. It quickly became a popular restaurant thanks to the deliciousness of its carefully selected steaks. Today, Wolfgang's Steakhouse boasts immense popularity around the world, with locations including New York, Waikiki, and Miami, as a "superb steakhouse" that impresses even the most discerning gourmets. ■ Exquisite steaks with a focus on "quality, aging, and cooking"
Wolfgang's Steakhouse uses only rare beef that has been rated "Prime Grade," the highest quality by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The meat is purchased chilled, not frozen, and dry-aged for 28 days in a dedicated aging room within the restaurant, where it is kept at a constant temperature and humidity. The red meat, which has been dry-aged for a long period of time to enhance its flavor and tenderness, is cut into thick slices and grilled in a 900°C oven, all at once, and served directly to the customer's table.
