
Actor Tom Cruise was born on July 3, 1962, in New York, USA. His parents divorced when he was young, and he moved around a lot with his mother. After graduating from high school, he moved to New York to study theater. He made his acting debut in the 1981 film "Endless Love" and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role in "The 90s." He then became a star with the smash hit "Top Gun" (1986). In his personal life, he married Mimi Rogers in 1987 but divorced in 1990. He remarried Nicole Kidman in December of the same year and was known as a loving couple, but they divorced in 2001. He married Katie Holmes in 2006 and had a daughter, Suri, but divorced in 2012. In his private life, he loves sunglasses. The Ray-Ban aviator glasses he wore in 1986's "Top Gun" became popular after the film became a global hit, and sales are said to have increased dramatically.
