UNIQLO will be releasing the "KURTA Collection," a collaboration with Delhi-based designer Rina Singh, at the UNIQLO Ginza store and the UNIQLO online store from May 15th.

This collaboration, which began with the opening of the India store last year, is now in its second season. It combines the traditional "kurta," a garment worn daily by Indian women, with UNIQLO's signature functionality to create a new type of LifeWear.
The inspiration for this season's collection was Amrita Sher-Gil, a leading Indian female painter of the early 20th century. The bold and vibrant lineup of items is reminiscent of the artwork of this pioneer of Indian contemporary art.
The blend of materials, including Indian slub yarn rayon and linen cotton, evokes the handwoven feel of India's traditional kurta, with a soft, cool feel.
The premium linen dress, which was well-received last season, is back again this season. Particularly impressive is the original botanical pattern, which is based on hand-painted motifs by designer Rina Singh. The vibrant yet soft colors of yellow, pink, and emerald green are perfect for summer outfits.
"Rayon Print Sleeveless Kurta Dress" - A dress made from easy-care rayon jointly developed by Toray and Uniqlo.
Incorporating signature kurta designs such as pin tucks, square necklines and embroidery, the collection is packed with Rina Singh's modern sensibilities and attention to detail.
The item lineup includes dresses (3,990 yen to 4,990 yen), tunics (2,990 yen to 3,990 yen), pants (2,990 yen), and stoles (990 yen). For details, visit the Uniqlo online store (https://www.uniqlo.com/jp/).
