Louis Vuitton has released new versions of its iconic Capucines bag, featuring summery, hand-woven rattan and vibrant colors.

The Capucines BB bag is crafted from hand-woven rattan tow with calf leather flap and top handles. The rattan tow is soaked in water to soften it, and then hand-woven over a period of approximately three hours. The detachable and adjustable slim leather strap allows it to be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag.

The Capucines MINI features a playful design that reinterprets the Capucines with its undulating base reminiscent of a seashell. The Taurillon leather is given a unique shape through thermoforming, a process in which the leather is heated and then shaped in a mold. The leather hardens during the cooling process, creating a unique form.
