A large-scale exhibition by artist Rei Naito, "Reflecting Creation," will be held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, from May 2 to August 23.

A small person stands, the earth spreads where water falls, wind is created when threads and ribbons sway, and beads and glass invite light—Rei Naito combines natural elements and delicate motifs in dialogue with the space, and by layering pale colors on canvas, she creates primordial scenes of life. :

Naito Rei has continued to create works by noticing and receiving what is within nature. Now, through this exhibition, she confronts the creativity that truly exists there, and discovers the vitality and compassion that are born when the creativity of people and nature, people and artwork, life and death, and above all, the creativity of the artist and the viewer, reflect each other. The venue will be an exhibition space of approximately 2,000 square meters, made up of various large and small exhibition rooms, light courtyards, and the corridors connecting them. During the day, the space will be filled with natural light that changes depending on the weather and time of day, and in the evening the lights will come on. A large-scale spatial work is planned, making it the largest exhibition of Naito Rei's work to date.
