Louis Vuitton is introducing a new high-end watch. The Tambour Curve Flying Tourbillon Poinçon de Genève was unveiled for the first time at Louis Vuitton's High Watch Making Event 2020, held in Gstaad, Switzerland on March 5th.

This watch, a reinterpretation of the Maison's iconic Tambour with a new concept, features a futuristic design that boldly showcases the artistic structural beauty of the Flying Tourbillon, a feature considered the pinnacle of watchmaking technology. Inspired by the Möbius strip, the 46mm case features a slender, arcing shape that stretches the existing Tambour case.

At the 9 o'clock position, a carriage inspired by Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram Flower motif stands out. Another signature, the initials "L" and "V," are integrated into the design through a skeleton structure that reflects the beveled finishing technique.

Also unveiled at the event were the new premium watches, the "Escale Spin Time Meteorite" and the "Tambour World Time Runway Universal Journey."
The playful "Spin Time," featuring a rotating cube that tells the time thanks to the Spin Time movement, is one of the Maison's iconic watches, currently available in various versions. The model unveiled this time was the 41mm model of the "Louis Vuitton Sscale Spin Time Meteorite" watch. Inspired by space, the dial features Gibeon meteorite. The two-tone contrast of black PVD-coated titanium and pink gold creates a design that exudes modern esprit.

The Tambour World Time Runway is one of the Tambour watches that combines world time functionality with a sporty feel. The newly redesigned Tambour World Time Runway Universal Journey features black, white, and yellow as its primary colors, reflecting the aviation design seen on airport runways around the world. The dial, housed in a 46mm case, features the initials of 24 cities, allowing users to see the time in all 24 time zones at a glance. Designed around the theme of the airplane, the most modern form of transportation, this watch pays homage to the travel that is part of Louis Vuitton's DNA.
