From Darkness to Light -
The Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2023 women's collection unfolds in three parts: the purity of black, faded pastel tones, and new interpretations of floral prints. In his first show in two and a half years, since 2020, the collection explores the contrasts between these elements.
As black-clad invitations give way to brilliant Technicolor prints, the collection moves from dark hues to a celebration of optimism. Couture techniques explore the delicate nature of airy fabrics through powerful silhouettes; muslin skirts and masculine jackets—transparency and lightness contrast with precision.
This time, we bring you the fashion story "DRIES VAN NOTEN Spring Summer 2023 x Harmony with nature," expressed by photographer Kasahara Hidenobu, based on the theme of "harmony with nature," which evokes the physicality of clothing and the feeling of wind and movement, which is also the concept of the 2023 Spring/Summer collection.
