PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO will be hosting the group exhibition "Wanderlust," featuring 12 internationally renowned artists, until January 6, 2020.

PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, newly opened on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO, is the second of its opening exhibitions, "Wanderlust," which marks a new beginning for the museum and features a total of 12 internationally renowned artists from Japan and abroad. In honor of the new Shibuya PARCO, the exhibition's title, which evokes the idea of wanderlust, the urge to set out on a journey, and a penchant for wanderlust, conveys the message, "Make a fresh start without fearing the future." Each participating artist and brand will exhibit new works in line with the title theme, as well as works not yet shown in Japan.
Participating artists include photographer Mika Ninagawa, who was selected as the artist for the "Tokyo 2020 Official Art Poster," as well as photographer Viviane Sassen, art directors Theseus Chan and Tsuguya Inoue, design studio groovisions, artists Keiichi Tanaami and Katsuhiko Hibino, ANREALAGE designer Kunihiko Morinaga, writtenafterwards designer Yoshikazu Yamagata, illustrator Harumi Yamaguchi, artist Yuki Chiba (aka KOHH), and "current artist" Naohiro Ukawa.
Parco Museum Tokyo's opening events, which will run until mid-March 2020, include a special exhibition called "Rhizomatiks inspired by Perfume 2020," which will give a behind-the-scenes look at the stage productions and artwork that the global full-stack collective Rhizomatiks has created together with Perfume; a special exhibition called "flowers" by photographer Okuyama Yoshiyuki and flower creator Shinozaki Emi (edenworks); and the "World Heritage Sites Made with Lego® Blocks" exhibition, which will be held for the first time in approximately seven years.
