"Observation Records of Light," a special exhibition by artist Ninomiya Kurina and fashion brand amachi., will be held from October 16th to November 1st at ART UP, a gallery space on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.

This exhibition is a collaboration between Ninomiya Kurina, an artist from Toyama Prefecture, and Yoshimoto Tenchi, a native of Elk Valley, deep in the mountains of California. For Amachi.'s 2019 Fall/Winter collection, "Collection005," Ninomiya and Yoshimoto collaborated on two knitwear pieces under the theme of "Observation Records of Light." This exhibition was born from that collaboration.
 "Knitwear" (280,000 yen)
"Knitwear" (280,000 yen)
The creations were born from a dialogue between the two companies, both of which have their roots in nature, based on the common keyword of "light," and have been output as three-dimensional works by Ninomiya and knitwear created jointly by Amachi and Ninomiya.
 "Gloves" (18,000 yen)
"Gloves" (18,000 yen)
In addition, Isetan Men's official media, "IMn," is currently publishing an interview with Ninomiya and Yoshimoto. Enjoy the fusion of works that evoke a somewhat spiritual and natural atmosphere, existing within the inorganic, cubic space.
