Yohji Yamamoto's official online store, "The Shop Yohji Yamamoto," has opened its world's first brick-and-mortar pop-up store. It will be held from October 5th to 27th at "Hills Box," a new pop-up space on the second floor of Roppongi Hills Hillside.


The pop-up store will feature the e-commerce site exclusive brand "S'YTE," with the latest 2019-20 Fall/Winter collection lined up. The collection includes military-style vests incorporating tactical elements like pockets and zippers, shirts and knitwear incorporating punkish elements like checks, leopard prints, and distressed details, as well as knitwear and knit pants featuring striking graphics in a delicate jacquard weave. This is a rare opportunity to try on an item you've been eyeing online in person.

The store is also hosting a photo exhibition by media artist Yoichi Ochiai titled "Phosphorescent Spirituality - Fabric and Wind, Echoing Bodies and Machines." To commemorate the event, the "site" will be releasing a total of four items, including cut-and-sew tops and hoodies printed with Ochiai's works and meaningful messages, in limited quantities exclusively at the pop-up store.
