The tie-dye motif, which first appeared in the Spring/Summer 2019 collection and has been incorporated into a variety of items from ready-to-wear to textiles, is a motif that is familiar to Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh.

Sock-like The "V.N.R" offers a snug fit and features a tie-dye-style knit upper with spray-on graffiti. The dynamically placed LV initials signature on the tongue also makes this a striking pair.
Virgil Abloh defines tie-dye as "a rustic psychedelic element, and its hallucinogenic effect is often used to express a sense of happiness. Because it's a technique that allows you to dye your own clothes, it has nostalgic value for those who graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where hippie culture remains strong."
