The "Baron Rugby" rugby ball (300,000 yen), created in close collaboration between the Maison's renowned artisans and Dan Carter, is a limited edition of 112 pieces, the same number as the number of test matches that Dan Carter played for the New Zealand national team from 2003 to 2015. Crafted from modern Monogram Eclipse canvas, the sophisticated black and silver colorway, chosen by Dan Carter himself, evokes the world-famous New Zealand rugby team uniform.

Created 120 years after the Maison's traditional Monogram canvas, Monogram Eclipse contrasts with the traditional laces connecting the oval patch on a rugby ball, a feature once found on all rugby balls. The patch and laces are signed by Dan Carter and crafted from black cowhide leather. Each ball comes with a carrying harness and tee (base) made from the same material.

The "Baron Rugby" (300,000 yen) is a limited edition of 112 pieces and will only be available in Japan, where the player currently plays. It will go on sale at Louis Vuitton stores in Japan from September 20th.
