Scenes from the 2016 exhibition
This exhibition commemorates the 5th anniversary of the Japan Fashion Culture Foundation becoming a public interest organization. The Foundation owns a collection of approximately 180 vintage Yves Saint Laurent pieces, mostly from the 1970s to the early 1980s, donated by Trustee Asami Kobayashi, and is a collection of pieces that represent a part of fashion history. Using representative pieces from this collection, based on the concept of "ever-evolving fashion," the exhibition showcases visuals of Asami Kobayashi herself wearing the pieces, as well as videos of her "futuristic styling," showcasing "timeless elegance." Experience the exhibition, where you can experience the timeless splendor of Yves Saint Laurent, the pinnacle of fashion, with its attention to design and detail.
