Clé de Peau Beauté will release a limited-edition holiday collection of six items and six varieties themed around "KIMONO DREAM" nationwide on October 21st.
The theme of the holiday collection is "KIMONO DREAM ~Awaken in a KIMONO dream~." A single piece of silk fabric is dyed, layered color by color. The beauty of the traditional Japanese garment, kimono, is created through the layering process and the way it is worn. These layers of color bring out the patterns of the four seasons and bring out the diverse beauty of women. Apply it to your lips, eyes, or entire body to complete your unique beauty.
Noteworthy is the collaboration between Kyoto's "Surikata Yuzen" dyeing technique, created exclusively for Clé de Peau Beauté, and a Japanese painting of a woman wearing it. The woman wearing a beautiful kimono depicted on the inside of the case is inspired by "bijin-ga," a traditional Japanese painting style that depicts a woman's appearance and inner beauty. This collaboration with Ayana Otake, who continues to paint bijin-ga and skillfully and delicately portrays modern feminine beauty, has resulted in a modern, realistic portrayal of a modern woman using traditional techniques.
In addition, the sleeve features a sash pattern, while the case is inspired by the "toutou" wrapping cloth used to wrap kimonos.
