Spotify's "Spotify Early Noise Night #10," a hook-up event for early-earning music listeners, was held on June 5th at SPACE ODD in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The event, which was held in March at EX Theater Roppongi for the largest special event to date, is still fresh in our minds, but this time it was held again at the home of its Tokyo performances, on the 360° Stage. Notable performers included Ghost like girlfriend, Mega Shinnosuke, Anna Takeuchi, SASUKE, and more, all of whom are young talents working under their own names.

SASUKE
__________

The first performer was SASUKE, who possesses a wide range of skills, including songwriting, track making, dancing, and rapping. He turned 16 just last month, making him the surprisingly youngest performer of the night. With a lively greeting of "Good evening, everyone! It's SASUKE!", he kicked off the concert with "Influencer." His bouncier arrangement, even more so than his original recording, instantly got the crowd excited. During the MC, he said, "Photography is allowed at my concerts, so please take as many as you like. If you do take photos, please upload them to social media. I hope they'll spread the word," drawing laughter from the audience. He then moved on to "New Era Memorization Song," touching on the change of era name to "Reiwa." His lively dance beat and catchy vocals, which alternate between rap and singing, exude a quality so high it's hard to believe he's still a high school student. He also showcased his sharp dance moves throughout the show, occasionally using keyboards and MIDI pads for live performances. Despite being the only performer on stage, he fully demonstrated his talent as an entertainer, never boring the audience. One particularly impressive segment was a DTM-like demonstration of how he constructed a song based on a sampled performance from a choir competition. His stage was filled with the emotion that "I just can't help but enjoy making music," and a positive aura permeated it from start to finish.

He ended the set with his second single, "Heisei is Ending," released in March, and passed the baton to the next performer in a vibrant atmosphere.

The final act of the night was EMI Ghost like girlfriend was on the verge of their major label debut with Records. He appeared on stage without any equipment, only a microphone, and completely changed the atmosphere in the venue with his first song, "(want) like (lover)." While his MC revealed some nervousness about the 360° stage, his sincere personality seemed to shine through. He performed a succession of tracks: "Fallin'," filled with a euphoric aesthetic and falsetto; "Shut It Up," an aggressive song that even featured shouts at the end; and "Kami no Hana," which created a grand soundscape reminiscent of EDM and stadium rock. He revealed that conversations with his fellow performers that day made him "feel like I want to keep going without pandering to the times," and ended with "Last Haze," explaining that "this is a song I wrote with the desire to keep singing forever." With a catchy sound and memorable lyrics that seemed to express his determination and attitude as an artist and as a person, this song was an emotional performance worthy of concluding the day.

Afterwards, he left the stage for a moment, but in response to the endless applause, he decided to perform an encore at short notice. "We haven't prepared an encore, but if you're okay with playing any of the songs from the main show, we'll do it again," he said with his characteristically polite MC, before returning to "Kami no Hana." This song, which also attracted attention for its SASUKE remix, was the first song of the day, providing another spectacular finale.
