Swiss watch brand TUDOR will release its new Black Bay Chrono S&G watch, which attracted the most attention at a trade fair in March this year, in late June.

Tudor was founded in 1926 by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf, with the desire to create a pioneering watch that combined the technology and reliability of Rolex. The new 2019 collection was unveiled at BASELWORLD 2019, the world's largest jewelry and watch fair, held in Basel, Switzerland in March. The model being introduced this time is the Black Bay Chrono S&G, which attracted the most attention at the fair and whose contrast between stainless steel and yellow gold gives it an elegant yet sporty impression.

Dating back to 1970, when Tudor introduced its first mechanical chronograph, the Oyster Date Chronograph, the brand's chronograph history has continued unbroken and has been closely linked to the world of motorsport. Meanwhile, its professional diver's watches have also been constantly evolving since 1954. The new Black Bay Chrono S&G brings together more than 60 years of Tudor diver's watch history, adding the iconic chronograph element of motorsport to the ever-evolving Black Bay design, fusing land and sea traditions within a sporty design.

The watch is equipped with the MT5813 mechanical movement, which is Swiss-certified by COSC (-2 seconds +4 seconds per day) and features an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring, an intricate column-wheel mechanism, and a vertical clutch. Water resistant to 200m and boasting a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, this watch, like other models, boasts exceptional robustness, functionality, and precision. Three straps are available: a steel and yellow gold bracelet, a leather strap (included), and a fabric strap.

In addition to the six existing stores, three new stores and pop-ups will open in June. The Daimaru Kobe store will open on June 1st, the Seibu Ikebukuro main store on the 20th, and the Daimaru Kyoto store on the 27th. A pop-up will be held at the Daimaru Kyoto store from June 12th to 17th ahead of the store openings.
