Brooks Brothers, a brand that has upheld the tradition of American classics since its founding in 1818, has revived its American-made polo collar shirt, which had ceased production after closing its US factory in 2020.

The signature button-down shirt, developed by Brooks Brothers in 1896, was inspired by the game of polo and is respectfully referred to as the "polo collar shirt" at Brooks Brothers. Its beautifully curved collar, craftsmanship-rich "full-stitch" tailoring, and gathering between the sleeves and cuffs have remained virtually unchanged since its inception. This long-awaited polo collar, a symbol of American classicism, is being released for the first time in three years.

This revived polo collar (button-down) shirt is made from deadstock 40/1 x 10/1 Oxford fabric, made from American Supima cotton, formerly owned by the Garland, North Carolina, factory that has been producing Brooks Brothers shirts for many years. The buttons are mother-of-pearl, marking the return of this shirt, made in the USA using authentic American materials.

Additionally, a new fit will be introduced this season, and the first to be released is a US-made polo collar shirt in "Regular Fit." It's neither too slim nor too large, with a comfortable fit and a silhouette similar to the previous Regent Fit. It features more room around the neck and body than the Regent Fit. It comes in the classic white and blue. It's sewn at the renowned Garland factory, so its quality is guaranteed. It's a product that won't disappoint Brooks Brothers fans.
