Bottega Veneta's new bag, "ANDIAMO," went on sale at select stores in Japan from February 7th.
ANDIAMO means "Let's go" in Italian. The design, envisioned for "going to various places," embodies the bag's spirit, as its name suggests. The new bag, unveiled by Mathieu Blazy at the SUMMER 23 show, employs a new expression of the brand's signature intrecciato technique and is realized through the skilled craftsmanship of Bottega Veneta's atelier in Italy.
Designed by Creative Director Mathieu Blazy, in keeping with Bottega Veneta's guiding principle of "craft in motion," the Andiamo bag's tapered silhouette creates soft volume, making it both practical and timeless.
The bag features an adjustable, sliding braided strap with a metal knot, and can be worn on the shoulder or by the handles. Continuing the Knot series' story, the metal hook is adorned with delicate brass details, adding a sculptural touch to this classic design. Characterized by rounded corners, the Andiamo offers a structured yet clean design, crafted entirely from paper calf leather. Its soft, dynamic finish complements the modern tailoring and versatile footwear seen in SS23, building on the concept of elevating everyday life. Available in three sizes—small, medium, and large—the bag is available in Glacier (a very pale blue), Fondante (dark brown), Barolo (a deep red), Travertine (beige-green), Inkwell (dark blue), Ice Cream (a bright pale yellow), and white.
