Dior's Pre-Fall 2019 collection, created by men's artistic director Kim Jones, will feature limited-edition items in collaboration with Hajime Sorayama.

The collaboration with Hajime Sorayama was unveiled at a show held at the Telecom Center Building in Tokyo. A gigantic metallic female robot figure of Hajime Sorayama appeared on the center stage, firing laser beams, creating a spectacular show that became a new legend.
Kim Jones commissioned Hajime Sorayama to reinterpret the Dior logo, which is featured on T-shirts, sweatshirts, and knitwear. Cherry blossom petals, paying homage to Monsieur Dior and his love for Japan, are scattered across a variety of items.

Meanwhile, Sorayama's signature dinosaur robot makes a statement as a key piece in the Pre-Fall 2019 collection, appearing as a card holder, pochette, bandana, "B23" sneakers, and brass necklace.
