The latest issue of Purple, France's leading independent fashion magazine, features Paris.

It's the return of Paris. When we launched the magazine in 1992, Paris was a city of conservative, slow progress, the antithesis of change. We had to fly to London, Berlin, New York, or Tokyo to discover the new. But those days are over.

For the first time in Purple's nearly 30-year history, we're publishing an issue dedicated to Paris, a city that has in many ways shaped the aesthetic of this French magazine. --Olivier Zahm
