Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa receives New York Art University award

Francisco Costa, creative director of women's wear for Calvin Klein Collection, received the Pratt Institute Fashion Show + Cocktail Benefit Award at the Pratt Institute Fashion Show + Cocktail Benefit, an art school in New York.

The award annually recognizes individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the fashion industry. Past recipients include fashion designers Thom Browne and Carmen Marc Valvo.

This year, Francisco Costa was recognized for his continued excellence in design for over 20 years in the industry. The award ceremony was held on May 7th, and the presenter was actress Rose Byrne, who attended the Costume Institute Benefit with Francisco Costa at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in May. On the occasion, Rose Byrne appeared wearing a fresh green and black patchwork leather sleeveless dress from the Calvin Klein Fall 2015 Collection, paired with braided leather sandals from the same collection.
