On February 20th, MM6 Maison Margiela moved its presentation venue from London to Milan to present its Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection.
The presentation took place at the Maison Margiela store on Via della Spiga 46. Everything from the floor to the walls, baseboards, fixtures, and chandeliers was covered in white padding, and the space was filled with techno music by Frédéric Sanchez, a master of runway music, transporting the audience to the world of MM6.
Models, selected through street casting, are dressed in soft, padded, and deformed wardrobes. Immediately following the presentation, five padded items were released for limited sale as part of a "see now buy now" capsule collection.
