Ginza Mitsukoshi will be hosting a pop-up event for accessory brand mellow in the Le Place Promotion Space on the third floor. The event will run from February 27th to March 5th.

Mellow's captivating accessories feature flowers and plants encased in resin, a design inspired by the supple and rich sensibility of designer Meiro Fukushima. The brand is popular with many women, and women can be seen lining up at Ginza Mitsukoshi when events are held there. This will be the brand's first pop-up event at Ginza Mitsukoshi since last summer.

During this event, Ginza Mitsukoshi is hosting a craftsmanship project titled "Kyoto Craftsmanship," which brings together Kyoto artisans and Isetan Mitsukoshi buyers, and Mellow is participating in this project. Limited-edition items created in collaboration with Kyoto artisans will also be available for purchase at this event. This time, the brand will go beyond the wearable accessories it has previously produced and will also be releasing flower vases.

The inlay base of these collaborative earrings is made by AMITA METAL CRAFT FACTORY, a metalworking manufacturer in Kyoto, while Mellow coats the flowers and plants in resin. The design is chic and exudes high quality, making it a great accessory for dressing up.



Mellow x Matsusai Touen "Flower Vase" 9,936 yen (tax included)
This is a collaboration item in which Mellow has poured resin into a vase made by Matsusai Touen, a Shimizu-yaki pottery manufacturer founded in 1868, and encased flowers. The addition of Mellow's modern creations further enhances the artistic appeal of the simple vase. It seems like it would be perfect for arranging both Japanese and Western flowers beautifully.
