This season's theme is "ESSENZA" (Italian for essence). As the name suggests, this collection embodies the essence of Dolce & Gabbana. This essence is symbolized by volume, tailored cuts, innovative proportions, carefully selected materials such as Italian fabrics and silk, and the craftsmanship of "fatto a mano," which means handcrafted. The result is a contemporary collection with a strong focus on design, while reaffirming the value of Italy's cultural heritage.

Perfect cuts create accentuated silhouettes and lines. Girdle and corset constructions, waist-enhancing bands and sashes, along with micro shirts and double-waisted trousers, reference the Fall/Winter 1999-2000 men's collection.

Jackets in a variety of silhouettes, from oversized to boxy and with shaped waists, were paired with relaxed or super slim trousers. Other pieces included structured jersey coats and jackets and coats adorned with tone-on-tone crystals, evoking the damp volcanic rock of Mount Etna or Stromboli. Other pieces included crop tops, multi-pocket vests, loose-fitting denim, and suits in flowing, lightweight sequined fabrics.
