5-knot, the brand created by Ena Onizawa and Taketo Nishino, presented their 2019-20 Fall/Winter collection on February 15th.
Each season, 5-knot weaves a story for its collection based on a travel theme. This time, the designers visited Sri Lanka, a mystical country where nature and humans coexist.
Inspired by moments of blending with nature, such as the sea and greenery, the sounds of rain and drops of water, and the morning sounds of birds chirping, as well as the architecture of Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa that blends into the landscape, the brand presented a modern and organic collection created from a clean slate, both physically and mentally.
