The "Detroit Boot" is based on the "Detroit Runner," which has undergone various transformations over the years. While retaining the trademark chunky tread outsole and curved midsole, the upper material, made of canvas and opaque rubberized plastic, adds a touch of glam rock fetishism. The exterior features a patch featuring a black-and-white photograph of an unknown punkette (female punk rocker), and underneath is a label printed with the words "Raf Simons Antwerp SS 2019," evoking the heyday of haute couture. The shoes are available in three color combinations: red and black, black and pink, and cream and white.
