Givenchy unveiled its Fall 2023 collection on December 9th.

For Fall 2023, Creative Director Matthew M. Williams continues the dialogue between the Parisian elegance established by Hubert de Givenchy and the laid-back attitude and aesthetic rooted in his California hometown.

Key looks embody the Left Bank's "nonchalant" vibe, with strong, feminine tailoring and just the right amount of deconstruction. Combinations such as a tuxedo jacket with distressed denim cargo trousers, a satin jacket with loose-fitting trousers, or a sensual flounce blouse with a cargo-style pencil skirt with pockets highlight graphic contrasts between black and white and unexpected pairings.

Slim leather trousers are paired with a sharp black leather trench coat. This casual, layered silhouette, first seen on the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2023 runway, returns in all-white.

The Maison's iconic 4G logo is brought to life on a black dress with a see-through back. Couture-inspired embellishments like bows and ruches are reimagined with modern, light touches in jersey and stretch chiffon.

The must-have Cut-Out bag is embellished with gorgeous rhinestones. A black evening dress is trimmed with silver jewels and delicate marabou feathers.

The latest women's signature bag, the Voilleux, inspired by the cool Parisian hobo bag, is now available in a new two-tone version. Additionally, Givenchy's signature bags, including the G-Hobo, Cut-Out and 4G, are available in a variety of Fall variations, including shiny black patent leather and sparkling pink.

For men, the contrast between tradition and modernity is expressed with a free-spirited attitude. Tailoring further evolves from the looks seen on the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2023 runway, emphasizing relaxed and practical appeal.

Tailored jackets are paired with denim or military trousers, and the signature 4G emblem is embedded. Printing techniques are elevated, mixing traditional luxury materials with technical fabrics such as piece-dyed nylon. New G-Clip hardware adds a touch of elegance to this season's tailored pieces.

More than just accessories, men's bags are designed as wardrobe essentials, adding the finishing touch to tailoring and outerwear, making them easy to layer. The burgeoning men's jewellery range also adds an extra edge to the collection.
