Isetan Shinjuku will be holding "Totono 2023 Isetan Sauna-kan" for three days from January 2nd to January 4th in the event hall on the 6th floor of the main building. This is the third installment of the Isetan Shinjuku event, and this will bring together approximately 60 sauna-related brands, including approximately 40 brands making their first appearance, the largest number to date, to introduce a wide range of items from fashion to miscellaneous goods and cosmetics. In addition to the original items from the last "Isetan Sauna-kan" event that were well received, various sauna-related collaboration items will also be on sale. This event will be enjoyable not only for sauna experts but also for those thinking of starting out in saunas.

In addition, as part of a dream project themed around "making your dreams come true," we are also introducing a "Special Accommodation Plan at the Members-Only Glamping and Sauna Facility, "Tokyo Classic Camp," planned in collaboration with Mitsukoshi Isetan Nikko Travel Co., Ltd. 3. Artist collaboration items will also be on sale at the event.

Three renowned artists have created sauna-themed illustrations under the theme of "Making sauna items more stylish." These will be printed on T-shirts, long-sleeved T-shirts, and sweatshirts, available exclusively at this event. These items were created in collaboration with One Step Co., Ltd., utilizing high-quality fabrics that had been left unused during the COVID-19 pandemic without being made into clothing. These modern, oversized silhouettes are crafted from scratch.

1. TOMASON


This item features a monster designed by TOMASON. The front design expresses the addictive nature of saunas in a pop and cynical way. The print features a monster called a "sauna junkie" soaking in a cold bath, looking high. The back design also features a monster called a "sauna dealer" who brokers saunas.

2. Machida Hirochika


This design shows the four members of Let's Go Downtown taking a short trip to Finland, enjoying a kerosauna in the middle of nature, with the scent of vihta, together with a girl they befriended there.

Illustrator and author. Born in 1992 in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. After living in Australia, Tokyo and Zushi, he is now mainly based in his hometown of Hirosaki. His motto is to freely express his own worldview using a variety of touches, drawing inspiration from the sea, mountains, animals, nature and his own travels.


3.ARAYA


This design features NAKA YORK CITY's mascot, Charaigo-chan, entering a sauna and then going to Totonou in a cold bath. The expression on his face in the cold bath expresses "Totonou," the reward for facing his limits.

Originally from Ehime Prefecture. After working in costume design, he is currently active as a painter and sculptural artist. He is currently running "ARAYA," a handmade leather craft project, and NAKA YORK CITY, an apparel brand.
