Nike has collaborated with AMBUSH® to release the "NIKE × AMBUSH®" capsule collection, which will be available from December 8th.
The concept for this collection was created based on the lifestyle and clothing philosophy of YOON, a popular designer and co-founder of AMBUSH®. Her busy schedule, which splits her time between her home of Tokyo and Paris, leads to changes in the clothes she wears. YOON explains, "In my busy life, I don't want to be bothered by clothes that are uncomfortable or difficult to use."
Meanwhile, Yoon wants to focus on improving her work methods and the quality of her work. She says she's been heavily influenced by sports, seeing similarities between the way athletes prepare for competitions and the way she works.

The collection includes a reversible track jacket made of fleece on one side and metallic foil ripstop on the other, two coats made of luxurious faux fur, as well as a Dri-Fit stretch bodysuit, crop top, and fleece pants. For footwear, Yoon chose the Nike Air Max 180, a shoe she holds a special place in her heart as it was the first shoe she bought with her own money in high school. Her design reimagines the iconic running shoe, incorporating elements from another Nike classic, the Nike Air Zoom Flight. The Nike x Ambush® apparel collection will be available from December 8th at NIKE.COM/NIKELAB, NIKELAB MA5, AMBUSH® WORKSHOP, the AMBUSH® WEBSHOP, and DSM GINZA. The Nike x Ambush® Air Max 180 is scheduled to release during the Spring 2019 season.
