Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Saturday, we will introduce books selected by Shelf (3-7-4 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a Harajuku bookstore that specializes in foreign books.

■ "DOMINIE-WERK No.26: BETON BRUT"

The latest and 26th issue of "WERK," a magazine created primarily by graphic designer Theseus Chan and art director Marina Lim.

This book, created in collaboration with Dominie Press, a printing company in Singapore that has been in business since 1979, has 640 pages printed in multiple layers of highly concentrated ink and bound on both sides. It transcends the typical magazine to read and comes very close to being an art piece (or objet d'art).

This is the most innovative book in the history of Werk, which has always surprised readers and collectors with its unique bookbinding.
