UNIQLO x Alexander Wang Heattech Collection Releases November 9th! Visuals Revealed

Release Date:2018.11.09
Oct 24, 2018

A special HEATTECH collection, "UNIQLO and ALEXANDER WANG," a collaboration between UNIQLO and Alexander Wang, will go on sale from November 9th.

Ahead of the release, styling visuals featuring models Rina Fukushi and Kenta Shimabara have been released. The visuals express the world of HEATTECH, which can be worn as outerwear for the first time since its release.

This collection takes Uniqlo's functional product HEATTECH's concept of "enjoying fashion in light clothing even in cold weather" and puts it into a new perspective, proposing a more stylish version of HEATTECH. It comes in two types: "HEATTECH" and "HEATTECH Extra Warm."

The silhouette is sharp and slim overall, and the women's tank top has a unique back design that allows you to enjoy coordinating it with shirts and cut-and-sew tops. Heattech underwear is also available for both men and women. Two types of briefs and boxer briefs are available for men, and two types of bras and shorts are available for women. The logo is placed on the waist, creating a design that you'll want to show off casually.

The collection incorporates not only the black color favored by Alexander Wang, who served as creative director of Balenciaga for three years from 2012 and is one of today's most notable young designers, but also futuristic elements and a sporty feel, such as neon colors inspired by 1980s fashion and shiny ribbed materials.

Another distinctive feature of this collection is the visual impact of the comfortable fabric, cut on the bias. The surface appears to have a V-pattern, and the color of the left and right sides changes depending on the light, allowing you to enjoy the unique changes in the appearance of the fabric itself.

The product lineup for this release includes six men's items and ten women's items.

Men's items include the HEATTECH Rib Crew Neck T-shirt, HEATTECH Rib Tank Top, HEATTECH Rib Boxer Briefs, HEATTECH Rib Briefs, and HEATTECH Extra Warm Crew Neck. Of the six items, the Heattech Rib Briefs and Heattech Extra Warm Tights, only the Heattech Rib Briefs are available in extra-large stores, while the others are available in all stores, with prices ranging from 1,500 yen to 2,990 yen.
