Halekulani, Hawaii's leading luxury hotel, will open the Halekulani Okinawa in Onna Village, Okinawa on July 26, 2019. Reservations will begin being accepted from February 2019.

Since its founding in 1917, Halekulani has welcomed countless repeat guests with its unbeatable beachfront location in Waikiki, its timeless elegance, and its warm hospitality. "Halekulani" means "a mansion worthy of heaven" in Hawaiian, and as its name suggests, the hotel offers guests a truly enjoyable stay.

The setting for the birth of Halekulani's second property, "Halekulani Okinawa," is Onna Village on Okinawa's main island, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Japan. The resort stretches approximately 1.7 km along the coastline, and all 360 rooms offer ocean views. Outside the windows, the sparkling emerald green sea and white sand beach spread out like a painting. Located within Okinawa Kaigan Quasi-National Park, the scenery, rich with nature, is truly worthy of being called paradise.

Although it is a beach resort, it is surrounded by lush Okinawan trees, and the location, where you can hear the sound of the waves and see the sparkling sea and greenery, will make you feel completely separated from everyday life from the moment you arrive, creating a sense of peace.

Guest Rooms
The entire facility boasts a vast area of approximately 87,000 square meters, and the landscape design was handled by Bert Collins, a company with a long history of designing beach resort hotels around the world. Spacious spaces were carefully created so that all guests can enjoy nature in tranquility. Each of the 360 guest rooms is over 50 square meters, with 47 elegant and sophisticated suites, and five villas with private pools and natural hot springs.

The interior design for the entire facility was handled by Champalimaud Design, renowned for its elegant designs. The rooms, themed around "Seven Shades of White," reflect the Halekulani's identity, feature an elegant and simple color scheme based on seven shades of white, highlighting the spectacular views outside the windows.

Restaurants (Innovative)
The hotel features four signature restaurants: All-Day Dining, Innovative, which offers French-inspired cuisine created by chefs who bring out the best in ingredients, Steak & Wine, and Japanese cuisine. Guests can enjoy a variety of unique menus that maximize the flavor of ingredients from Okinawa and other parts of Japan. Hiroyasu Kawate, chef of the two-star Michelin restaurant Florilege, will serve as consulting chef for Innovative Halekulani.

The hotel's extensive facilities include five different indoor and outdoor pools, including one that depicts the sparkling white sand beach and Halekulani's iconic orchid logo with approximately 1.5 million mosaic tiles, as well as a top-class Japanese spa with a hot spring bathing facility that uses natural hot springs.The hotel offers an unprecedented variety and luxurious stay experience.
