Givenchy presents a women's version of Clare Waight Keller's "JAW" urban sneaker for Spring 2018.
Named for the distinctive "teeth" on its sole, the "JAW" is inspired by the versatility of athletic shoes. Its style borrows elements from '60s running shoes and '90s high-tech sneakers, while maintaining a contemporary design.
Following the men's "JAW" high-top sneaker that debuted on the Fall/Winter runway, the women's "JAW" low-top sneaker (priced at ¥95,000) debuts for Spring 2018, exuding a sleek, urban vibe. The shoes are crafted from a mix of calf leather, neoprene, and suede, with mesh details, a neoprene lining, and a lace-up closure, and feature a strobel construction for superior flexibility. The insole features a 4G emblem, while the outsole and heel feature the Givenchy brand logo.
In addition to the original all-white and all-black colors, a multicolore version combining three earthy hues: camel, russet, and brown has also been released. The white version will be released in mid-October, the black/white in mid-November, and the camel/white in mid-December.
