British artist Jimmy Turrell's exhibition "Jimmy Turrell Exhibition 'Two Islands'" will be held at BIOTOP in Shirokanedai, Tokyo from October 5th to 21st.

Born in Newcastle, England, Jimmy Turrell graduated from Central Martins College and has worked as a graphic artist and film director. He specializes in handmade collages, drawings, screen prints, and paintings that coexist with digital art.
Recently, he has worked on the graphics for the cover of Beck's latest album, "COLORS," and the music video for his song "WOW," demonstrating his versatile work across music, fashion, film, and sports.

The event will have six sub-themes: Music, Fashion, Film, Design, Architecture, and History.
Exploring the history and culture of Japan and the UK, which have influenced and inspired each other for centuries, the artist will express their similarities and differences through collages. In addition to exhibiting and selling original A0-sized artwork created specifically for the event, limited edition T-shirts (7,500 yen) and posters (8,000 yen) will also be available for purchase. This is a truly spectacular event, showcasing works by the artist himself on the walls and an exhibition of the original drawings from his much-talked-about "COLORS."
A reception party will be held on the first day, October 5th. Jimmy Turrell, who is in Japan for the event, will also be in attendance.
