Photographer Yoshihiro Makino's photo exhibition will be held at the artless appointment gallery in Nakameguro, Tokyo, until October 15th.


Yoshihiro Makino is a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in documentary portraits of artists and writers, as well as interior and exterior photography that highlights a modern sensibility. With a deep knowledge of art, design, and architecture, he has utilized his knowledge to create art books, magazine editorials, and even event production. In recent years, he has traveled to various countries and regions, including India, Brazil, Peru, and Norway, to actively photograph architecture and landscapes from an art and design perspective, and to engage in gallery work.

The exhibition will feature new works, "Dune Portraiture," of white sand dunes photographed by Makino during a trip to New Mexico. The works evoke a beautiful white world, the sculptural beauty of nature, and the preciousness of life.
